Colourful Radio voted ‘Best Radio Station’ (Urban Music Awards 2015) welcomes Travel Africa Radio Show to its award-winning roster.
The ‘The Africa Show’ produced and created by My African Passport positively promotes Africa, Africans and Afrobeats. Colourful Radio is the perfect platform for the The Africa Show as the show provides information, conversation and great Afrobeats music.
The show is hosted by Lyande Kaikai and Yolisa Segone who both have a passion for African travel, food and music. The vibrant duo will share their experiences, those of their guests and callers with an aim to promote Africa. The show will also have a visual element, where listeners can view parts of the show via SnapChat and YouTube.
“We want to give our audience a fresh outlook of the continent; the Africa the media doesn’t show you and its people there and abroad. We know of so many beautiful places and people doing great things that we want to share with our audience”, said Lyande Kaikai the founder of My African Passport.
Founder of Colourful Radio, Kofi Kusitor MBE said, “The station I started years ago continues to innovate beyond my vision back then, and it’s so satisfying to see the team demonstrate what an award-winning radio station does, looks like and sounds like.’
